Must Have Tools for Internet Marketing

Hello and thanks for visiting my site!
I’ve been doing my own websites for my real estate business for years. I was pretty pleased with myself when I got 100-150 visitors per day. I was even more excited when I actually got calls from prospective clients off my websites!
When I recently learned about these tools, services and technologies…I was blown away! It’s amazing that I got any visitors at all on my old websites!
Every product I mention on this page is a product that I am currently using to deliver my websites and blogs to you! From time to time, I’ll write an article that describes my experience in coming up to speed on a particular product or service, so keep a look out for those posts, especially if you’re a newbie, because it’ll save you some time!
First and foremost, I recommend that you get the Marketing on the Fringe education package from Bill McRae. This is the best overview of “how-to” available for marketing on the internet.
HostGator is a really terrific hosting service. All the services and tools that you would expect. They are easier to use than GoDaddy! This is where I host most of my sites. Click on the banner to go to HostGator.com and check them out!
WordPress Direct is the easy way to bring up new blogs! Thousands of themes… auto-population of new content… easy management of all WordPress features. Check out WordPress Direct!
Neurolinker is a terrific system for creating backlinks to your site. You know the rule: No backlinks, No traffic! Get Neurolinker!
Next step–social bookmarking! I have implemented three systems for social bookmarking so far… A free service from Ping.fm is a comprehensive posting tool and allows you to post to over 40 different sites at one time. An added bonus is that is automatically converts long URLs into short URLs. Another tool from OnlyWire adds a button to your blog posts where the reader can, with the click of a button, post to many social bookmarking sites at one time. This is a great tool and I use it for those sites that are not covered by Auto Social Poster which I’ll tell you about next. Check it out here: OnlyWire. The third tool I use allows you to pick a small number of social bookmarking sites at random for posting items from your blog. This gives your blog a much more natural feel and is much more friendly the bookmarking sites. Plus it’s all automatic! Check out Auto Social Poster from Mass Automation.
budurl is a terrific system for shortening or cloaking URLs to your web pages. The system collects statistics about the number of clicks for each URL so you can easily track the effectiveness of your marketing actions. There’s a free version, but to get the stats you need to go with one of the subscription offerings…but it’s still very inexpensive!
