I am doin my internship in a manufacturing company making Diesel engine parts mainly for tractors. The task given to me by the company is to use the internet and identify potential customers (Diesel engine/tractor OEMs & spare parts distributors) in the export market (no geographical restrictions). Then contact them and if possible to try and get an rfq from them. I have given my project title as "export potential for my firm’s products in the international tractor OE and after sales markets" but am not able to get any (secondary)data or market research reports onthe net.I also doubt if a questionnaire would work because all are foreign companies and they are not even responding to my emails which i am sending on behalf of my company.
Can you please suggest how to go about obtaining data for the project report for this study and is there any website where i could find marketing project reports? Also is there any other approach i can take (other than export potential ) to do my study?
One common mistake that many students do is ‘follow the title of the project’. The title can be changed (& in most cases, it wil be changed) any time during the project (generally towards the completion). Your objectives might have been framed by now, so just follow them & acheive them. If you find any difficulties in acheiving a particular task, just drop it unless its the spine of the project (it sounds bad but in reality, the time period given to you to finish your project would be limited to do everything). Towards the completion just review what you have done & the title would come up automatically. Eg: I started my project with TQM, but due to time limitations & unavailbilty of required data, it turned into ‘Quality of work life’ i.e, I could complete only a portion of TQM & that little portion was my report.
For the secondary data, you need not always have a questionnarire as the data collecting tool. Try to get information from the websites of those companies, from the previous records of your company (what kind of companies it catered to earlier would help you find similar companies (potential companies)).
The data you require or the tools depend largely upon the type or nature of your research study. For example if the study is exploratory in nature, you dont actually need a questionnaire. Data can be obtained through observation. A silly example would be, say if you want to know the number of men voting at a particular poll booth you need not have a questionnaire asking the respondents about their gender. You can simply have the data through your observation.
All that I can say is just start your work, keep a watch over the deadlines.
You can find reports on www.ssrn.com

Would it do me any wrong to major in E-Marketing? The name of the major is actually "E-Commerce Marketing", but its basically just E-Marketing.
Anyways, I was wondering if this field will be a thing of the future? I’m guessing yes considering marketing will always be around, and I don’t see the internet going anywhere anytime soon.
I’m asking though because maybe someone on here knows something I don’t.
Thanks.
Well, yes. but, get good in another field too, because, llok at this "new internet bubble" with MySpace, YouTube, FaceBook, and MyYearBook.Com, while these companies aren’t spending on marketing like crazy like in the Bull, you should always be carful of another internet colapse, im in the dotcom business, i understand, i provide email and other e-stuff
email me at nickb@estamponline.net if you have any comments or questions

I found this book at a flea market titled, "The Sunbonnet Babies in Italy." It is pretty weathered looking and looks very aged. The copyright is 1922 and it was written by Eulalie Osgood Grover. The publisher is Rand, McNally, and Company. This is a picture of the book I found on the internet. But, the one I have looks very aged in comparison.

How much do you think this book is worth if I were to sell it?
It is worth what ever you paid for it, unless you can get someone to pay you more for it!

Does anyone know of any jobs online that are legitimate? Working for an actual company? Don’t reply with "internet marketing" please, I’ve been doing that for awhile and it’s not what I’m looking for. im not going to buy something through your hoplink
We’re overseas right now, and I would really love something that I could do from home as far as over the internet. Etc* I’ve been looking and i just keep getting frustrated! Soo many scams or worthless things out there. Anyone know of something REAL for a decent 2nd income?
I have searched for such jobs since 2003, when I was laid off – and found absolutely nothing legitimate.
With today’s high unemployment worldwide, there are no easy jobs available. those trying to tempt you with easy money are scams, they will just steal your identity or charge you credit card until you have to close it out.
Wish the answer was more positive, but regretfully it is the honest truth.
Check the previous questions asking essentially the same thing as you, in this forum. there are dozens of these questions asked every day. And the same scams being posted in answer, every day.

My website is new, and focus on the "internet and online marketing" niche. The freelance service that I’m seeking must show examples of articles completed for clients marketing within this area.
If you go about your search in a systematic manner, then it should not be a problem to find a good article writing service. Try the following approach;
a) Go to three of the main search engines and type in some keyword phrases linked to your search i.e. article writing, article writing service, best article writing services etc.
b) Take the first three that comes up on the first page, and go into each site (total of 9 sites)
c) Look at their site layout, references, quality and costs, and then make an informed decision.
You will naturally feel attracted to one or two services based on your findings in (c). As a caution, I would generally not opt for anything less than $10 per 500 words as the quality is bound to be suspect, although there could be exceptions.
